The Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers are, according to HoopsWorld's Alex Kennedy, discussing a three-way trade that would send Dwight Howard to Los Angeles and Andrew Bynum to Cleveland. The Magic would get a package of picks, young players and cap relief to start rebuilding.
Three-team deal may send Dwight Howard to Lakers, Andrew Bynum to Cavs and picks/prospects/cap relief to Magic. Still trying to get details.

If the teams can make the financial aspect of this deal work, it would benefit each team. Each team gets a fair result.
The Lakers would be the biggest winner in this trade.
They would go from likely competitors in the Western Conference to a finals-quality team capable of contending with the Miami Heat. The Lakers already added Steve Nash to solve their point guard weakness, and flipping Howard for Bynum removes the often-attitudinal Bynum.
The Cavaliers would also do quite nicely in wrapping up the services of Andrew Bynum.
The deal would likely be contingent on Bynum's willingness to sign an extension. If the Cavs are looking to take on Bynum in a trade, it would seem that Bynum has at least some level of interest in Cleveland.
The Magic would benefit by finally moving on from the seemingly unending Howard saga.
It has been a problematic year for the organization, and turning the page for good would be a huge step. They could focus their attention on finding a head coach and using the prospects, picks and cap space to build the team they want.
This is a deal that should be done and completed quickly.
Everybody gets at least something of value in the trade without being ripped off too much. One could argue that the trade isn't great for the Magic in terms of return value, but at this point, they are most certainly going to take a loss of some sort.
